Grade 11 and 12 students are invited to attend the Adulting 101 Fair at CHSPS. The fair will be in the main gym on June 10th, 2024 from 3pm-6pm. Students from are invited to attend independently or with the support of an adult in their life.
Each student will be provided a folder in which they will be able to collect brochures, information pages, and business cards that pertain to embarking into adulthood. Some of the agencies/ businesses who will be attending include: Canada Revenue Agency, Insurance, Banking, Rental Market/Home Buying, Landlord Tenant, Utilities, Family & Community Support Services, Service Canada, Career Counsellors (Student Loans), budgeting, former BRSD students to provide information and answer peer questions about the first year after completing High School and many more
There will be an opportunity for students to enter their name into draws for prizes as they exit the event.
