Basketball is offered from grades 5-12 at CHSPS. Mini Dunkers usually begins after Christmas break for grades 5 and 6 students and focuses on fundamental skills to build confidence for their JH years.
The JH and SH basketball seasons run from November until mid-March depending on how well teams do. We have very competitive programs here at CHSPS and our 2021-2022 SH Girls team made it to provincials! We often get large numbers of students wanting to play on teams; this is great! Please be reminded that in SH we do have to follow the Alberta Schools Athletic Association rules including how many students can be on a team.
We will communicate tryout dates and tournament information as the seasons come into play.
Note: Athletes must pay their fees prior to playing sports.
